The “Hunts Point Jets” Building Community through Flag Football—One Snap at a Time

Flag football hits the Olympics in 2028, but the heartbeat is already here in the Bronx. At Hunts Point Rec, kids like Hope and Dondre turn after-school into end zones—finding speed, safety, and a second family. Coaches and parents show up, the New York Jets and NYC Parks keep the doors open, and the chants say the rest: “One, two, three: Hunts Point! Four, five, six: Family!”
